magnaflow exhaust leaking?

magnaflow exhaust leaking?

just wondering, I got midas to install my exhaust for like 55 bucks.

but I noticed a couple of days ago that my pipes were leaking.

what should I do about it? has anyone else experienced this?

I was told that you should tighten the bolts on your exhaust every now and then for the first week or two. I could be wrong, but it couldn't hurt .

There's a surprise. I had to get my joints welded so they wouldn't leak. Those u-bolts are cheap pieces of junk. It's a very cheap, if not the cheapest, way of joining two pipes. You will more than likely have to get them welded to seal it up.

Might as well just weld the joins as Mbow said, instead of tightning the screws every once in a while
