Supercharged Civic?

hi, has anyone successfully installed a supercharger in their civic? it seems the best way to increase my carīs HP to me , I was thinking of a Roots-type compressor like the one in the Mini Cooper S...thatīs a 1.6L inline-4 too right? (ok ok, the civicīs exact displacement is 1.6995..something like that, but it canīt make that much of a difference...right?) AND to fit in a Mini it really must be compact...so i donīt see much of a problem ...but then iīm not an expert...what do yīall think? id really appreciate your help

No, it wouldn't work, engines are totally different...nobody has a supercharger because none of have been manufactured yet (it seems all major producers have declined on the product for the 2k1). Fabrication of a one of a kind would be rather difficult and expensive but hey, if you got the dough give it a go. The reliability and ease of a supercharger sounds great, but until the big boys come up with a model it's gonna be tough luck.
