Anyone installed their own Tsunami bumper?

I just ordered the Urethane Tsunami front bumper. I'm thinking about getting it painted at a body shop and installing it myself. Has anyone done this? I am just wondering if I will need any extra hardware or is it as easy as putting the stock bumper on?

the bumper itself is not hard to install, however, if you're a total NOOB, then u just might wanna have the shop install it after they paint it. also, that way they can make sure the color matches the car better.

Thanks! That's what I was hopeing for. My local shop quoted $190 for install alone. F That. They are probably thinking it will be one of those nightmare kits that doesn't fit right.

You're right they probabley are, so clarify to them that it's a perfect fit urethane kit (not fiberglass) then get a quote.

If you have ever taken your stock bumper off and reattached it you shouldn't have any problems, it comes with pretty good directions that even tell you how to prep the urethane if your going to paint it yourself.

Make sure you put it on to test the fit before you get it painted, otherwise you'll probably end up with a scraped up bumper. I did mind myself, it wasn't hard at all, just took a little time cause i cleared my headlights at the same time.

Yes, $65 shipped. I have one VERY similar on the website. Otherwise I can also do the exact same MI #95. Unfortunately I don't have any real pics of this decal yet.
