i thought the reason the moon roof went outside was if the head liner was to short to accomodate the moon roof to go inside ei the eclipse. their isnt enough room to go in so it goes out. i like the internal moon roof. its like a bmw. the pop up ones remind me of saturn sc coupes and tiburons

i saw one of the members here that have that kind of moonroof/sunroof. i think he paid like 700 dollars for that mod. I forgot the name but keep searchin. if it would help i think its color is silver coupe

again I don't know why you would want to go outside the car, you risk it getting hit by a rock or something. If you have a moonroof already, I don't think you will be able to change the mechanism. If you don't, there is someone that came to the midatlantic meet that had it done.
