$1,500? Wow. You have no idea how easy it is to actually do that yourself.

Maybe I'll post a DIY in the future if I decide to do it to my car.

It's VERY easy.

I guess that's where the people comfy with drilling into their car (i.e. the MEN) are separated from the bolt-on buyers...

I'd be afraid of mis-aligned doors, and water entry.... more so on a custom DIY job.... Hmph..... I think that looks a tad fugly.... I'd prefer a sci-fi version of it where the entire door moves out laterally from the entire car, THEN turn up. That way, you don't have to friggen be a contortionist to fit into your car. Think how true lambo doors are, they rotate straight up, not at an angle like that....

The basic concept when doing this is using mini-shocks. Like ones you'd find under the hood of a car if it didn't have a latch to hold the hood up. Those and simple modifications. It's pretty easy. I don't know what the hell they're trying to sell for $1,500 unless they're installing it.

I dun understand where you see our car? I'm looking at the applications page and it's only out for Coupe & Hatchback Civics up till 2000. And the 7th Generation Civic isnt in their list to be Coming Soon...unless they're gonna add it later.
