Anyone with the OEM Spoiler

Have you tried taking it apart to get to the LED's. And if you have is it hard to do, I just got an idea and it's too late to run out to mine now, might as well get some insight into it if it's been done before, so I know what not to go.

i've taken the led's off of the spoiler...to try and prevent some rattling...didn't work too well.
but its just 4 screws underneath. but u need a very short screwdriver to get in there without taking the spoilier off.
and its one big piece of plastic that i don't think you can take apart. cause there isn't even a seem or anything.

What they said, and watch screwing it back into place...it'll crack if it's too tight.

I was thinking about making the leds pull some knight ridder thing going back and forth across the spoiler.

That would be cool...

There is a company out there that makes those for different cars, I just wish I could remember who. Sorry, I know I wasn't a big help.

I've seen those too, can't remember. I think there used to be Tbirds that had sequential turn signals that did that.

If you do a google search for LED scanners, you should come up with an A$$load of sites. I plan on adding a white one to my front grill eventually . . .

I think those lights are made jetlights or jet led's. I checked out their site once buy they don't make custom applications and I wouldn't trust them.
