I've decided to get custom 2" piping. Is tihs a good size for our cars? or should i get 2.25"? If full piping gives me barely any horsepower, and all i'm doin it is for sound, shouldn't I just take off the resonator and save my money? What should i do?

ditch the resonator, get a high flow cat, and whatever muffler u want

hi flow cat = ilegal but u'll see increase in HP.
custom cat you don't get a whole lota power cuz it's not a mendral bent which sorta defeats the purpose ona exhuast system when it can't even flow on turns. But it does free up diameter and it's a lot cheaper than a system (DC sports, thermal r&d).
Custom exhaust piping is also gettin rid of ur resonator too..it replaces your stock pipes from the cat to the inlet of ur muffler..and we have a resonator on there that automatically gets replaced.
2.25 inch is fine..thas wha I did but I shoulda gone wit a 2.0 and gutted the cat.

Hi-Flow cats arent illegal in all states right? pretty sure I read that they were mostly street legal. My car is registered in Michigan, being that they dont inspect, I am just gonna remove the cat completely and custum bend and wield my own tube to replace it.
