The reason I think people get confused on that so much is because of Vortech. It's like your head mixes the two without your permission when it comes time to spell it. VTEC +Vortech = V-tech. hehe [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 actually, i think it's just because some people are complete idiots. i mean, it's on the engine. it's on the rear end preludes and integras. it's on the windshield of every honda with altezzas, cut springs, and an unpainted body kit. it's in every piece of honda propaganda all over the place... WHY CAN'T YOU PEOPLE SPELL IT CORRECTLY!?!

alright i'll answer the question. some people have installed the vafc by apex sucessfuly BUT, they couldn't get the vtec controller on it to work. everything else works fine, like the air/fuel ratio. when they hook up the vtec controller up, they get an engine check light and the ecu resets, making the vafc useless.
next time SEARCH, cause i've answered this question about 3 times this month already and i'm getting a little sick of it.

Rep Power: 0 I dont know what company or shop it was, but my buddy was tellin me that there is a shop in illinois that has gotten the vtec controllers to work on 7th gens. When he's online again, ill ask him about the shop and such.
