cf hood = engine damage

you know the cf hood with the 2 damps in the front, would it cause engine damage when you wash your b/c water will flow into your engine bay?

I was my engine bay with a hose everytime I wash my car, I have always done that and have never had a problem.

If you let your car sit after you douse it with water, then you should be okay. It wont ruin the engine, but it disturbes the molecular structure of the metals and materials under the hood. The have fender wall in the front to keep the water out. Wonder why there was a splash shield under the front of the car? Now you know.
