someone said something about a thing you put in your muffler that makes it sound like a turbo does anyone know where to get this from. Just wondering how it would sound. Im thinkin if my new gude head gets the horsepower it should maybe someone will think I have a turbo

I know that tornado thing that you can buy that goes onto your intake sounds kinda like a turbo but I havent heard anything about putting something in your exhaust.

its the Racctive turbo muffler...it has a turbine (looks like a turbo turbine) in the rear end, it was made for cars with turbos so that it pulls out the exhaust heat quicker...it will make a slight turbo sound on normal motor cars, but was designed to work on turbo applications

the only thing ive ever heard of thats relevant to that is a fake BOV sound. I saw it on ebay once and everytime u shift its this thing that puts out a sound that sounds like a bov....never heard of the muffler turbo thingy tho?

I think you're looking for something like the old school monza tips. They are exhaust tips with resinators, they can give you that sound.

The turbo sound should be heard under the hood not under the back bumper. It would be dumb to buy that just so your car can make a turbo sound that's coming from the wrong part of the car.

Ractive's turbo muffler was made for turbo applications. Do you hear that, it was made for something. It was not intended for ricers to get ahold of it and put it on their s$%^ to have the feeling of speed. It has a logical use, it sucks the air out of the pipe, like a BOV would. I have heard and saw the muffler at a SEMA conferance and it does not product much of a sound. if you want loud and annoying sound get a glass pack muffler from thrush. if you want cool, deep bass like me get a straight though exhaust or a catback. Dont buy this part unless you have a turbo, or else you will be ridiculed here, wasting your money and you will **** off people that have a turbo and muffler like this. No turbo means you dont get a turbo product.

theres a thing on ebay right now. type in something like "turbo sound" to find it. its $19. kind of a waste. its this contraption that clamps to your tailpipe from the inside. i think its a big waste now that i tihink about it. but if you want it, buy it

I agree that it is a pointless add-on. But whatever though, its not your car, its theirs. to each there own. not everyone is gonna like everything. there's plenty off useless accessories that people ue and some people hate them while others love them. personally, i think altezza taillights are hideous and are a pathetic rip off of lexus. Not only are they ugly but half the time they leak and cause more problems then theyre worth, and msot importantly, theyre just plain ugly. But my point is, if its your car, do whatever you want to make it yours. even if that means a fake turbo sound.
