Pros and Cons of custom piping
Pro- much cheaper
Pro- you get to pick wha muffler looks good and sounds nice.
Con- backpressure galore
Con- less horse gain because all ur doing is replacing the stock pipes wit a larger diameter
Con- no mendral bends...not the best air flow

thats really good to know!!! because i was really debating whether or not to just go and spend another 300 on a full cat system or just get some piping made!!! it's all about the sound and until you get some serious engine work done to your car then your not going to have to worry about having the proper system!
Getting a custom mandrel-bend pipings for your car is much better than getting push-bend pipings. But unless you have force induction or have a car that has been heavily modded, you're not going to see a huge difference in power b/w the two types of pipings. Even if you goto a local muffler shop or even a performance shop and get mandrel-bend pipings, its never going to be as good as Apexi or Greddy exhaust b/c they put in a lot of research and development into their products. I personally would go with an exhaust from Apexi, Tanabe, or Greddy.
