Sedan ashtray/ligher

Hey, I was just over at Hondawerx.com (cool site by the way) and I saw that they have the ashtray/lighter combo. does this fit the sedan and the and the coupe? And does it just replace that panel with the blanks in it?? thanks

Yes, it is a "direct" replacement OEM honda part, fits any model/trim honda civic 2001 model. As far as fitment on a 2002 with teh cup holder cover, I am not sure, but if you want to, you can get a 2001 center console replacement also to guarantee it will all fit properly, the 2001 and 2002 center consoles are a direct replacement for each other.

there is nothing on our cars that "HAS" to be dont by honda. Its always nice if the replacement falls under warranty and is fixed for free, but this thing is a pretty simple change, just taking out the one lower trim plate and swapping in the new one.

yea i figured as much. i guess its pretty simple, but is there any DIY topics that would show how to remove that panel so i can put this in. smoker or not, i think this looks a lot better than the panel with all those blanks[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/IMG]
