paint the rs grill?

i have an rs grill. i haven't put them on yet. i have a silver coupe. would it be ok for me to put this on? i see a lot of people saying that "rs" is for sedans. i also see people saying that the rs grill doesn't fit coupes perfectly coz they're made for sedans.

but i like how they look like. check out maverick's ride. it looks really sweet. anyone know how much it would cost to paint the grill? should i just spray paint it silver? or would it be a lot better to have it match the color code? opinions will be greatly appreciated.

I was gonna get the grill, but some punk out-bidded me for it. I also drive a silver coupe. I was gonna paint only the border part and leave the grill black. I got the idea when I saw the new SI and those have the grills like that. As far as the rs badge goes, I'm gonna leave mine on since I already took my ex badge off. I think it's ok as long as you don't have both on it...besides, I doubt there are gonna be a lot of people who sees your car and who knows well enough to realize you have a RS on a coupe. And if you take off the RS, I heard you still have a indentation of the RS on the grill which looks bad. Fitting, I have no idea about that...shouldn't be too hard to get it in, right?

yea, i think it looks a lot better if the whole thing is painted. and i was gonna put the "rs" sticker on coz it wouldn't look right without. check out maverick's ride. he's the only i see with it on painted.
