Rep Power: 0 Final verdict on Greddy Evo....
Im ready to order my exhaust ASAP but i keep gettin mixed results from people. I want loud so no bother mentioning the quiet exhaust plz. I heard the N1 and it wasnt to bad but ive "heard" the Greddy is loud and has a deep tone but then ive heard its quiet as well especially when idling. Ive heard the 5zigen is loud too but thats bout all ive heard bout it, i dont think many people have that exhaust. Peeps im tryin to get some closure and order my exhaust and i wanna be sure i order what i want and am counting on ur opinions. Quality is important, dont want loud exhaust but in the long run its crap neither. Hope u can help.
If there were sound clips i wouldnt even be asking this question

Rep Power: 351 If it were me i would go with the Tanabe its loud but not too loud it has a deep throaty tone to i it i had one on my old Lude.....its was nice i called the importers of the Tanabe exhaust and its comin out in Aug for sure ....itll cost about 600.00 and its all stainless steel and its catback here was a debate a while ago but i would go with Tanabe or Greddy thats your best bet for what your looking for IMO

Rep Power: 0 i think ur best bet on a nice, loud, deep, throaty cat back is the greddy evo, however... the skunk2 megapower catback is very...very nice. especially since it is all polished out and the muffler is quite a bit smaller than the greddy. if i had realized how big the greddy can was, i might have gone with the skunk2 just because my car is lowered and it sucks to scrape such a nice exhaust all over the place. on the other hand, i am very please with my exhaust and wouldnt give it up for anything.

Rep Power: 0 i love my greddy and all, but isn't the tip way to big? the tip looks huge compared to the rest of the car. it might look that way to me because i have a wings west g5 kit.

Rep Power: 0 I have a 5zigen fireball muffler on my ride w/2.25" custom piping. Overall the sound is loud and deep, not annoying or sounds like it's coming out a tin can. I have it set at an angle instead of the traditional straight thru look. I went with it because my friend who owns a local import shop here in CA. recommended that 5zigen was one of the best out there. This was way before I got my civic, so I've always had 5zigen in mind. They don't have a cat-back system for our cars yet, but if you can't wait, go the route I did and just buy the universal muffler and take it to a muffler shop to be welded on.
