Oh, I though that it was CF somehow mated to leather? Just the Carbon Fiber weave is flexibe, so it might be possible. Although the strands don't hold together that well. It's sort of hairy and fuzzy and will snag easily. You might be right. Probably just a pattern.

It's totally just a patern! i really doubt that the shifter boot could be made out of carbon!!! the guy is just taking a patern and stitching it together!

i thought about dabbling with this, but the work to make it look good IMO would not be worth it. Im just not skilled enough in keeping it from unravvling.
