yes they can be replaced....and no you dont put the bulb in when you fist install projector lights...at least mine i didnt have to......i believe its an H3 bulb? or else H1 something like that.....anyway i HIGHLY suggest you buy lights with a lifetime warrenty because they will be going out a lot. i have some that my brother was able to pick up for 65 bucks but he said normally they are like 85 or so. but now all i have to do is take the bulb in (cannot have finger prints on them) and they will give me new ones for free.

Anyone got a decent take on the performance of these projectors vs. stock units? I like the look alot but not willing to sacrifice being able to see at night.

there is no room at all to get the projector bulb out so yes you do have to take the bumper off....you must have tiny tiny hands....

H3 bulbs at walmart are like 5 bucks a piece or cheaper.....but i have some that are hyper whites with a lifetime warrenty that were like 65......

and i like my projectors over my stock lights. i actually get more light with them then i did the stock ones. only problem is the projector bulbs will go out a lot
