Heel and Toe Pedals

Hey Dudes,

I'm getting an Acura 1.7 EL this week, and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get good pedals. I think they are a bit awkward as stock for that. The brake and gas need to be closer together for proper heea and toe shifting.

Cheers

There are several - momo and razo offer some pretty decent ones with heel/toe pads...

In an auto? Simple: trade it in for a manual, and then it's just practice practice practice!

I had a 1.7EL before the P5. I think the stock pedal are pefectly setup for heel toe. Try to put your right foot more vertical (lack of better way to describe) while you brake and the gas will be at your heel...very easy to control the gas.

But you might have bigger or smaller foot...so try to experiment. Of course if you're putting in the pedal for the look then it's another story.

Hehe, Who says it's an auto? 1.7 EL is a Canada only upscale civic...

See it here and drool.

It costs about the same as a US EX but has rear discs, and a bunch of toys, even leather if you want

Hey FireFly, what do you think of the P5 compared to the EL? Was your EL a '01?

I havn't driven a P5, but it was on my short list. Probably buy the EL this weekend
