BROKEN APC CF tails

Alright I was wondering if any one else had this problem, The light was hanging out by the wires on the lights, teh plastic around the screws was broken and the y wont replace them because I put them in. Any one Know?

I put mine in last October and have never seen any sign of any problem. Did you tighten them too much?

Sounds like you over-torqued the screws & tore them loose. Try resetting them into place with some epoxy (you might try some first in an inconspicious place to make sure it sticks) - done right it should last - just be careful how tight you make them nuts.

yeah they are shattered and my arms are little I dont think I could tighten them tighten enough to do that

I did that on my 88 Civic Clear bumpers tightened them too tight and BAMM another $15 for some new ones. But yeah APCrap I don't buy from them anymore since they went to autozone and you can buy them there and how they are over played I just refuse to buy there stuff anymore.

It only takes a tiny little wrench and one skinny little finger to snug the nuts on the bolts that hold in the tail lights. Moslty it's just compressing the rubber weather seal a little bit.
