Rep Power: 0 I have the dealer installed body side moulding on my 02 Coupe. The installation looks like it was done at the factory & the paint (Titanium Metallic) matches perfectly. The moulding is located at the widest part of the door & so far no dings.

Rep Power: 0 Hey it may prevent "some" dings, but watch out for SUV's cause the door edge on dem SUVs are pretty high.. i got a dent on the bodyline in my rear panel... that's pretty high up if you ask me... so the molding might help somtimes
Minotaur...anyone can install those moldings.. they just stick it on, it's self adhesive...

Rep Power: 0 hey macko is right-
it may save some, but after a while the dings will start to acumulate. it still amazes me how some people have no respect and are so careless about opening their doors. i was thinking about buying it for mine, but the best prevention is parking all by yourself far away from anyone else! plus, you burn some calories in the process!

Rep Power: 272 Yeah I been thinking about doing the same. Sure moldings won't prevent all dings, but it's a step in the right direction. I just saw Pedrito's ride with the moldings and it doesn't look half bad. The moldings blend in with the rest of the car.
