Good Price?

The owner of Honda/Nissian dealership where I purchased my 01 civic last year now has a performance shop. You can buy anything from intakes, cat-backs, headers, body kits, ect.. Anyway I have been wanting to get the Kaminari kit (front, side, and rear of the kit). They told me that they would install it, paint it, and give me a three year warrenty on the kit for 1495.00?? I have thought about getting the kit and have someone to paint it and put the kit on, but all the shop here honestly don't do good work, my friend is having is kit repainted once again, because the paint keeps coming off.

My advice is dont get it if they have a reputation of doin bad work period. but if you insist on getting it and the paint comes off, it will be a pain to have to tie up your car to take care of warranty work, just my 2 cents but good luck

$1,500 isn't too unreasonable for a painted kit, especially with a 3 year warranty...if ya got the money and like the kit I say go for it.

I don't really get it. Three year warranty for what? I don't think they will warranty your bumper if they see scrapes under the bumper because your car is low. Maybe the warranty is for the paint job incase of bubbling. But if you hit rocks and stuff on the road, that will naturally cause your paint to chip and I think you should make sure how far the warranty will cover.

uh... what exactly does a warranty on a kit give you? if it falls off they replace it?

1500 is probably the most i would pay. i'm sure you could get it for 1000 painted somewhere else tho

Thanks guys I on the info on what to do. I will check into the warranty, but from what the guy told me it was the paint, and if something nasty would happen with the kit. Now since I can't make my mind up from the OEM kit or the Kaminari kit, any thought will help me. (I can't make my mind up for anything). I will think it over for a week or less. Thanks for the help everyone
