black tint... 90 bucks installed... or DIY... i don't think that there is much difference... i really like the black tint... unless your car is a show car... then color is acceptable...

I got my 5% done for 180 but it is only covered while I live here, but when I move, if anything goes wrong then I won't be able to get it fixed unless I drive all the way back here to bumfu*k Nebraska. but i have had it for a few months now and no problems so far.

Same as me I have 6% covered on all windows and the ones on the front driver and passengers are only covered here in Arizona but had it done in March and nothing yet so I will have to go back here too if I have issues. Or just pay some other shop to redo my windows in the state who will do work beyond legal. But oh well it looks really good.

Im low on the list, but listen! theres better stuff than that! look up a place called "Mr Tint" i dont remmeber the exact location. its called "quantum" tint, and works by using metal flakes aligned. will never fade over time and you get a LIFELTIME warrantee. that is definitely the way to go. Quantum, from Mr. Tint

I will agree quantum is good stuff too, I have Solar gard on my ride haven't had a issue with it yet. Well just the dealer and their install but not the film itself.

i have had 17% llumar tint on my car for about a year now. no problems. i love it. lifetime warranty.
in my research llumar and solar guard seemed to be the most recommended.

house tint from home depot if you can cut in a straight line and happen to have a heat gun lying around, DIY is by far the most cost effective, and 30% reflective house tint seems like pretty good quality, also.

I'm thinking about getting a tint soon for my car as well but all this talk about llumar and stuff is confusing me. Anyone care to school me in some of these terms dealing with tinting?

My bud just had llumar tint put on and the limo 5% is dark and looks really good. I was actually really impressed with it, still like my solar gard but llumar is a good one too I think it would go better with a dark colored vehicle but thats just me. The llumar looked good on my buds dark colored truck. Just my $.02

nothing beats quantum silver tint, looks good an ANY color car, cause it picks up the color of the car. made with metal flakes, they all align to block out the sun. as metal flakes do not fade over time, you get a lifetime warratee, and they do a fantastic job.

only problem is that Mr. Tint is the only guy in the bay area who has it, and they have a 15 mile radius buisness area where they are teh only ones allowd to sell it. (i dunno about availability in your area.)
