Proyectors and HID
You can put a HID system on projectors and I believe someone on this site has it hooked up already. They plug right in. You can change the bulbs only, but they won't be anywhere near as bright as HID. You also have to becareful on the bulbs you select because if you purchase a pair with high wattage, it will MELT your projectors.

maurex has tyc projectors and hid, but i remeber him saying he had to enlarge the hole to accumulate the hid bulbs, another member on the site also has hid (can't remember his name at the moment) but he swapped out the lens with ones of audi i think... loosk good!
I was the one that has AUDI projectors swaped out with TYC projectors.
HID is a complete headlight system. It is not just bulbs. It consists of a ballast either with built in ignitors or not (computer) and xenon bulbs. I have not tried just putting a xenon bulb into the TYC projectors, but the output of that thing would be scattered and glare into oncomming traffic. I would not reccommend doing that.

I would like HID in my ride but with it being almost a yr old forget it not worth it now selling it here in a couple years and get the accord coupe so maybe they will come standard with HID maybe by that time. But yeah I liked the Projector and HID look I think it looks PHAT.

I recently purchased Projectors. I was told they were TYC but instead it was a different brand. A carbon fiber type of look (Maybe Matrix). To me it looks better then the TYC because of the absense of the yellow amber thing.
Also it would go well with my new Carbon Fiber Hood. (Installation on both will be on Friday)
But anyways, I have a reciept for FREE HID Conversion Kit which I won back in February, and with no expiration date, I will be adding them in as well.
Anything I should know before getting them and having them installed?

Nice yeah the only way I would get projectors would be without that ugly orange piece is right yeah they may be legal that way with orange but cops here don't care about headlights just jumping on the clear taillights. But yeah that would go well with the CF hood. Definatley get some pics up I would like to see that.
