fastest way to increase HP?
what are the top 5 most efficient engine mods to increase HP for our cars? i only have an intake, what else should i get besides an exhaust? And i really aint considering droppin a turbo in my car, so besides an exhaust and a turbo or an engine swap, what is the best and cheapest way?
Fastest way to get HP is probably
- Intake
- Exhaust
- Header
- Stickers (These will add LOTS of HP. That's why everyone puts them all over their car )
But if you want serious power, do Nitrous - which will cut the life of the engine in half, because our cars obviously weren't designed for it, or get a turbo. I think Jackson Racing makes one, and there's maybe another one available somewhere. That would be the better way to get a continuous 60 (maybe) or so HP increase. Plus, then you could get it dyno'ed for the rest of us

if you are gonna do nitrous, i really recommend you trying to as many internal parts as possible, (ex. pistons, rods, possible head work, etc. ) cause it will be alittle easier on the engine when you use nitrous.

Nitrous is obviously the cheapest way to gain hp. However, it's also a great way to tear up your engine. It will accelerate wear on the engine. People say if you don't use if much and so forth, but who wants a mod they can only use once a week.
okay...well of course everyone will say NOS...
lets say you have an unlimited money supply...and its the year 2006..
#1 Engine Swap
#2 Turbocharger
#3 Supercharger
#4 NOS
#5 Engine mods to the sh*ty 1.7 Vtec we got... (rod, pistons, intake, headers/exaust, fuel rail, etc)

the quickest ways
1) nitrous (IMO zex is the easyest to instal)
2) gude preformance packege (40 hp boost and bo0st is selling it for $1450)
3) there is a shop selling a turbo kit for are car $3900 i think(look through the threads IMO turbos are a b!tch to put on your self. 60 hp @ 7 psi)
4) aem cai/hp 4-1 w/cat/tanbe racing(my set up by the end of summer i hope)
5) replace your windows with that flex a light glass, take out your seats, spare, jack and the 100lbs sub box you have in your trunk

replacing your windows and removing your seats does not increase horsepower. the weight of your car has nothing to do with horsepower. it's a whole different direction on how to quicken your car.

turn whole your car into a carbon fiber with plastic windows.
carbon fiber also the who frikkin interior, and i was also thinking, well.. remember the flintstones? lol. you have to "run" first to get your car up and running.
fred's car is fast. in the cartoon at least.. i can't catch my eyes with the background scenes and all..
haha just kidding everyone.

go for:
a engine swap like a h22a and build a big engine bay
and stick turbo + Supercharger in together! with N20
and switch that damn FWD into a AWD..and go find a race
with a WRX or any car out there and show that our 7th gen civic
