this is off topic to the question, but more a question for 1028CiViC:
How do you like the Hiper Exhaust? Im gonna get the full cat-back in June, just wanted to know your thoughts on the system. How does it sound? is it real loud? deep? Smooth? Is there generally a difference in sound from a custom setup and a full cat-back?
Keep it real.
Peace~

the only difference between full cat backs and custom is a name brand. For what most people do with there cars, a custom cat back is good enough. Sometimes, customs are better than full. If you want hi flow with a custom, get 2½ inch piping, that should be the equilvalent to 2¼ madrel bent piping. I paid $200 bucks for my exhaust(installation and muffler, 230 if you add the resonator removal which I should have done the first time).

No noticeble gains, I have a highflow cat. I had to install it because the HP racing cat I had there before made the system way to loud. Remember you need some back presure. I think 2.5 is to big for a mildly modified engine. If had a turbo that would be a different story.
