hood damper

looking for a good solid reliable hood damper for my em1. bought a pair on ebay for $55 and it lasted only for 1 day! now i'm in the search for a better pair of hood dampers - the type that last and not a piece of shiet! any recommendation would be nice. thanks

Re: hood damper

Small gas charged struts.....Man, I went looking up some because I needed one for the lid on one of my toolboxes....

Lift-o-mat by Stabilus was the name.....and I had numbers on my old strut I could google and cross reference.

That somehow led me to a ton of choices from a Stabilus products distributor, you could choose from all sorts of lengths and pressures to suit your needs, dialed in to a T.




Go to the U-Pull-it and grab a set off of a V6 Accord? Or another car?
