Rep Power: 0 Well, I guess that answers all the questions about replacement trunk lids! Too bad carbon fiber is so freakin' expensive! It's OK though, with my E-2 military pay, I could afford the bumper, side skirts, rear lip and trunk lid in like 10 years!!!

Rep Power: 0 wow! this is just FABULUTH! we could replace all the exterior panels (sans the doors, roof, and rear fenders) with CARBON FIBER for $4723! 40 HP!!!
edit: does anyone happen to know the cost of factory replacement panels? [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] it WOULD be kinda interesting to see the difference in cost... if you got in to an accident perhaps... i bet stock steel body panels (hood, fenders, and bumper, let's say) + installation/labor would cost about the same as ordering the front-end CF parts and installing 'em yourself. hmmm... now, if they only had the doors, too...

If you look at the OEM side skirts, or front lip or rear wing prices you'll see that the CF is way higher.

Rep Power: 337 you can make some of these parts. if your just looking for teh look, you can paste teh fiber right on, easy done.
