Carbon Fiber everything!!!! check it out If I only had the moneyGO GO Carbon Fiber |
Well, I guess that answers all the questions about replacement trunk lids! Too bad carbon fiber is so freakin' expensive! It's OK though, with my E-2 military pay, I could afford the bumper, side skirts, rear lip and trunk lid in like 10 years!!!:cry::cry: |
LOL that's my boys car. carguybh I know how you feel. |
Ithink i am going with the hood lip and fenders(maybe not the fenders bcause they are really expensive |
Hey if you are going to order any of those let me know email me @ 2cute |
Just get married carguybh, back when i was an E-2 i made around $2,000 a month.. of course i was also getting hazard pay in Korea. |
why would i email you |
wow, i'm suprised that they have so many pieces for our 7thgens:tup: too bad i can't come close to affording all that |
Because I was gonna hook you up with better prices BUT nevermind. |
wow! this is just FABULUTH! we could replace all the exterior panels (sans the doors, roof, and rear fenders) with CARBON FIBER for $4723! 40 HP!!! edit: does anyone happen to know the cost of factory replacement panels? it WOULD be kinda interesting to see the difference in cost... if you got in to an accident perhaps... i bet stock steel body panels (hood, fenders, and bumper, let's say) + installation/labor would cost about the same as ordering the front-end CF parts and installing 'em yourself. hmmm... now, if they only had the doors, too... |
oh shucks now I wont get your 2 dollars off I'm so upset, especially when I have hook ups too, darn. |
Well I talked to my friend at MMR and he said that if you call him @ (888)542-3626, his name is Matt, and mention you found out about him on this board he would give a 10% discount for carbon fiber parts. |

did anyone watch that little video clip on the carbonfiber hood on that same website also... the carbon hood seems indestructable, no wonder them pieces are sooooo expensive  |
Did you watch the Gran Prix at Monte Carlo? There were pieces of carbon fiber all over the track every time a car crashed. |
I don't think i would wanna be driving around in an all carbon fiber car...if you were in an accident it would be a disaster.....plus the cost to replace would be insane, damn! |
Just think how high the insurance would be. |
you can make some of these parts. if your just looking for teh look, you can paste teh fiber right on, easy done. does anyone have a pic of teh trunk lid? ive been wanting to take a look at it, but no site has a pic. any help? |
why would i want carbon fiber when i could have nighthawk black pearl? lol |
