radio relocation?

FIRST OFF IM SORRY IF THIS IS A REDUNDANT POST, I ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW HOW TO DO THIS

i was wondering if there is a kit to relocate the radio in the spot where the cig lighter is. i bought 2 panels, one from a 01 and one from an 02. both are the same in size and use the same mounting points. do u have to cut the panels to make it work? fiberglass work? let me know. here are the 2 panels.

01 LEFT 02 RIGHT

you can post a reply or email me at lucas@ridetech.com

thanks

will both cig lighter peices fit into a 2k1 coupe? becuase i would really like having that extra cut out space for a second fog light button.. my first button would probably be my fog lights.. then the second can be interior neons or something

You are going to have to glass somthin cause there is not enough depth to accomodate a radio down there. I personally would use the 01 piece because it will fit on top and you can keep the pocket on the bottom. Not to mention I dont think the 02 peice will fit in your 01 right.

Hefe - the trim piece and the pocket are 2 seperate pieces, the pocket isnt attached to the trim piece, thats all.

<< where did you get the 01 panel with the hole for the radio?????? >>

Actually that's too small to be a radio hole. It's the opening for a sunglasses (or whatever) pocket.
EDIT: DOH!, Just read bzrollin's post.

I'm thinking the 01 piece will be easier to work with, since there is more to work with. It's usually easier to take away material then to add!
