I guess AEM is coming out with one or they dont have a part number for it yet because if you go here, you can see that it is its coming out in a little bit. but why would you want to get a cam gear because what i have been told is that unless you want to spend a lot of time on a dyno, you wont be able to get the adjustable cam gears properly aligned without being on a dyno. Just some info that has been pasted down to me, i dont know if its true or not. later.

That' right, adjustable cam gears are useless unless you have access to a dyno... cause you won't be able to tell how much improvement you are getting, or even you can be making it worst

Adjusting cam gear is a precision task...you can't just say you wanna adjust it and just do it without testing..

There are already probably some recommded settings for cam timing. After that you can run time trials and find the best setting for your application without needing a dyno.

JC whitney has them on backorder. I went in last weekend, and ordered it and they are gunna ship it to my house. It sucks because I was supposed to get 25% off, and they didn't take the discount and before I could get it fixed my girlfriend who worked there quits so I end up paying regular price. I might just cancel it.

but why would u want a cam gear? I dont think it makes that big a diff on a SOHC motor as it would on a DOHC motor
its pricey too

AEM's website claim an increase in horsepower just by using the cam gear and not changing the actual cam. I'll try anything to get a little more power.. Check out their website it has more information about the gear on there. www.aempower.com

i know someone with the cam gear (or so he claims, but i dont have any reason not to trust him). he says that he feels a significant difference in power when VTEC kicks in. Sounds like a good buy, but im gonna wait till a new cam shaft comes out, and then do it all at the same time.
