Aluminum piping?

Anybody have custum aluminum piping with muffler? will aluminum rust? stainless steel is to expensive, so i was wondering if aluminum is worth it. The guy at the shop said it wont rust but the color might dull.

It won't rust, but it will loose its color and sorta oxdize. It's a lot lighter though
