washer paint?
Does anyone paint their windshield washers to match car or hood color?.....well I am thinking about to paint my washers to silver using OEM Touch Up paint, cuz I my car is silver so I think it will look good if all the silver, (like S2000 washers are paint).
so is OEM touch up paint reliable, does it good for long or it will peel out soon?
suggestion, please
thank you.......

CivicS, that's so funny...I just helped a friend replace his washer heads on his silver coupe...this is hassle-free: Just go to your dealer and buy new washer heads for a silver accord. These will fit perfectly and will unify the look of the car, especially on the EX w/ the body-colored mirrors and handles. I'm doing mine next weekend
2001 Honda Accord coupe windshield washer nozzle, part no. 35236, SSM, $9.50+shipping.

Yeah i got mine from CollegeHills Honda...they were 10 a piece...they look great and for that price i am not going to paint mine... AS for installing. There are tabs on the underside of the hood. Push them in and boom they come out...OH BTW pull off the washer fluid lines
i just ordered the satin silver metallic washer nozzles from hondaautomotiveparts.com. i'll let you all know how it goes. came out to $23.95 to buy 2 of them plus the shipping.

Buddy, you got ripped off. Should have just bought touch-up paint. $5 and 45 minutes of your time, and your nozzles would match, and you'd have extra touch-up paint for random scratches, and you'd have an extra $17 in your wallet, and you wouldn't have an extra set of nozzles around for no reason.

Hey, just rough them up a little with some fine abrasive paper and then clean them with alcohol. Apply a couple or three thin coats of touch up pant and you're good to go. Mine been painted now for 5 months and show no signs of chipping or peeling.
Oh, and be sure to reattach the washer fluid tubing when you are done.............if you plan to use the washers.
