help on taking out factory tailights
are you sure you've taken out all of the screws? If so, I had the same problem but, I went ahead and yanked the stock tail lights out. Just give it little tugs and see if it lossens. I thought that I broke them cause they made this loud a$$ breaking noise. Everything was fine though. It was a big pain though 4 door tail light conversions are hard. Oh yeah, did you get the screw that is under the bumper? Hope this helped. GOOD LUCK

Personally i would unhook all the bulbs first. Then there will be FOUR 8mm nuts to loosen on the back of the taillight assembly. They then will come right out.
Hope this helps
