Exhaust Showoff: Greddy EVO vs. Skunk2
Sorry if this post pisses anybody off but I've already done a search on the site. It helped alot but I still have some questions. Here they go:
1) Which one is louder? Around where I live cops are being a$$holes about loud exhausts. Giving out tickets and stuff for even non-stock quiet exhausts.
2) What does each one sound like at low, mid, high rpm range? Sound clips would be golden if anybody has any.
3) Power gains on either one? Any noticeable differences on either one? Dyno results?
4) Fitment? Which one fits better? Any scraping problems on lowered cars?
5) Is the Skunk2 exhaust the only 7th gen Civic exhaust that is ALL stainless steel not just the muffler and tip?
6) Anybody had rust probelms yet with either one? I live in a bit of a wet and moist envronment --------> lots of rain.
These two seem to be the exhausts of choice of the big name boys. Price is not really a factor for me either cuz they're both about the same price where I live, 1000 bucks Canadian.
Any help would be appreciated guys. Thanx!

- i'll help ya out man, i got the skunk2
1. its louder than the tcs and magnaflow, but not as loud as some custom exhausts
2. the skunk2 is deep throughout ALL rpms. never gets that high pitched sound
3. small difference but not much. its more mental. i don't have any dyno results.
4. my skunk2 had to be adjusted by the muffler b/c it was touching the rear bumper but it was no biggie. one section scrapes mainly b/c my car is dropped liked 2 in. i can't even go ever speed bumps w/o hearing a little scrape here and there.
5. the magnaflow is also stainless steel. the greddy is aluminum i think
6. no problem here, skunk2 will never rust- its stainless steel
- if u got anymore questions, just reply back.

anyone who knows how to do sound clips please. I've heard the magnaflow and dc tcs. So far I'm willing to spend the extra for a tcs, but wanted to hear greddy first. I don't like the idea of a skunk scrapping a lowered car.
The highest price I've ever seen for the Skunk2 must've been like $730!!!!!!!!!!! Not even worth it... and yeah, it was off the internet.
Glad I'm gettin mine under $500 too. Thanks, Vic.
