how to lower the shift boot?

I wanted to get a new shift **** and i want it to look something like this

I wanted to know if you have to buy a special shift **** or something to make it look like that

You'd need an adapter(that plastic looking piece) and a new zip tie. If you just use a zip tie and no adapter, it'll look funny. Haha. You can go the DIY route and pick up a pcv valve grommet or some grommet from the hardware store and try it. I can't remember if there's more to it, but I had to do that when I put a new **** on.
