X-Pel headlight protection?

Does anyone know if this stuff is any good. I'm gonna buy some new headlights and I want to UV protect them so they don't turn yellow like my tails.

i wouldnt use film on anything, it can have its own problems and when the outside edges collect dirt, it will not look nice. also even the clear film will rob some light output. i recommend wolfgang plastic surface sealer and use it every couple months on your plastic surfaces to protect from the sun and also bead water for better rain visibility. costs $40 for the big bottle but will likely last 5 yrs with regular use. it applies and wipes off just like wax. safe if you get some on the paint too.

awesome that's exactly what I needed to know! I'm getting new headlights and I don't want them to get ruined like my tails did.

Re: X-Pel headlight protection?

mothers clear plastic polish usually works wonders on old tails and sometimes headlights too so long as theyre not too far gone (im guessing yours were pretty bad). mothers polish and a mothers powercone will really bring tails back to life. when i got my used tails, they were pretty beat up but after some polish and sealer, theyre almost like new
