New Headlight prob, please help guys

Ok, a while back, I was parked in my driveway in the back, my car was just minding my own business, and my dad being the old intelligent attorney he is while backing out of the driveway decides he needs to clean his glasses. He does so and backs into my front left side, shattering the headlight! Don't worry, I got everything fixed, except this new headlight the people installed doesn't seem to fit right. It JDM, and it looks identical to the right side, and I notice it seems the two lights are incredibly out of alignment. I figure, what the hell, I'm going to have to clear the new headlight anyways, I'll fix it myself. I cleared it just fine but when reinstalling and I realized I still couldn't get the new light to line up properly. While the headlight are on, on the left side it is pointing at least an inch more down then the right headlight(propotianally speaking) and now the car is back together and I can push the light housing in and out and it moves with relative ease back and forth. this is very upsetting, anybody got any ideas on why this is? i have a 2k1 2dr LX. Thanks guys-

Sounds nasty. Seems like after your car gets smashed once it's never the same. Something is probably bent somewhere and was overlooked by whoever fixed your car. Maybe it's the headlight not being stock. . Maybe you need another one from the same place to make it match. Or you can just try to formulate a cheap ghetto way to fix it. . Like stuff something inbetween somewhere to raise one side to make it even. All else fails you can always run it to Honda and ask them . I'm sure they'll fix it no problem, although they'll charge you a arm, leg, ear, and pound of grass to get it fixed. It's all up to you. .

Word, look in them manual on vertical adjustment of the headlights, then reaim them against a wall (assuming the housing is correctly aligned and its just the lense causing the prob.). Reiming headlights is normal especially when you get new bulbs, etc. Peace
