Rep Power: 0 Just picked up the latest issue of super street today and guess what the feature article was? the HKS turbo RSX. The RSX has the same fuel system we do and all HKS did to get around that was install an F-CON and probably higher flow fuel pump. Don't believe me? Pick up that issue for yourself. They also check out 6 different programmable FMSs in this issue.

Rep Power: 0 Cant you just throw on a inline pump, JR or something? Just to boost the Volume and presure. Bigger injectors will be a must, as well as boost controller, AFC, clutch, and premuim fuel all the time, I would like to see some dyno charts, ect. as well. Thanks for the info 2k2civic!! Hope this system works out!!

Rep Power: 0 The deal with the returnless fuel system is this. In the past, the Civic had a return fuel system. The pump pumped the fuel to the engine bay via one fuel line. The pressure regulator was located in the engine bay and would regulate the amount of fuel that went to the fuel rail. The excess fuel went back into the tank via a second fuel line. Our civics have a returnless system. The ECU determines how much fuel is needed and the pump and regulator are both at the tank. To get the extra fuel we need to the tank, all we have to do is tell the ECU that we need more fuel, and we can do this with an AFC or similiar device.

Rep Power: 0 Ya, you would need a boost controller, a turbo timer would be convenient (you can pick this kinda stuff up off ebay for cheap). Other than that....yes you would need premium and you would also have to adjust timing, etc.

Rep Power: 0 I would not build a single kit without at least half the money down. Lucky if even 10% of the people who say they want something ever follow through.

Rep Power: 0 ok, could we get a t25 instead of the t3/t4 hybrid? That turbo is huge, but it's not gonna spool until about 4.5k. That's not much chance to put down some power in that whole 2300 rpm powerband there.
As far as fuel issues go, Mustangs have a returnless fuel system too. I know a guy that has a supercharged saleen with three fuel pumps to take care of the fuel delivery issues. There is also a way you can "tap" a dent into the pump, and it'll flow a lot better.

Rep Power: 0 Where did you get your info on the T3/T4 from? The ar ratio on the exhaust and compressor side are both low enough to spool up quick with our engines, if you read differently, that's probably cause whatever you read or heard it from was reffering to a turbo with a high ar ratio.

Rep Power: 0 Ya'll are crazy, why would you listen to this random dude. There are no pictures or dyno. if you want to be one of the first people to blow up a 7th gen civic engine this is the way to go. I dont know about trusting random tuning shops to develpe a turbo when corporations are still trying to develope one, or maybe not trying at all...but still. two words...RANDOM DUDE!!!!

Rep Power: 0 if you see a turbo in your near future, no! don't worry about a header (singular because we only have one header in our cars) or a cai. and i've talked to a shop in south florida developing a turbo for us... i keep seeing people say something about the big corporations havn't figured it out... that's not the case... you really think between HKS, Greddy, Jackson Racing, etc.. they can't find a way to put some sort of forced induction on our cars??? please!! they just either don't have time to waste on it right now because of more profitable projects they are focusing on... or they havn't found a way to keep it comepletey street legal and give the gains the public would want for 3 or 4 grand. so, personally if i see a shop successfully build a kit for a 2k1... i'm down for it. personally i'm not even shopping for a turbo.. but it's a thought.

Lighten up, noob. Ain't nobody here put any money in it yet. Besides corporations are notoriously slow about development. Most of the real speed stuff has come out of small shops. Check it out and tone it down dude.
