Gude Package: Guinea Pig Forthcoming
Hey everyone
My manager here at work has a 98 Civic EX, and he's going to be doing the Gude package within about a week or two (he says...:shady so anywho, I'll be there taking pictures to proove it to you, I'll take pics of the shipping box even, the heads side-to-side, and I'll scan the before and after dynos for the car. I know it isn't a 2k1, but at least it could give us an idea, before anyone forks over the cash money. 45 WHP sounds nice, so lets see what happens with him and we'll find out if maybe it's a viable option for our D17.

Gude has been around since the beggining of the import scene. He has been building and racing Honda's since the early 80's. This guy knows his shiz. Back in 1992 almost everyone ran his cams and head packages, they were the best power upgrade. His grinds are probably equal to or in some cases, better than HKS or Greddy. Then came JG who bit off of his head jobs and cam grinds as well as DPR. If you want some serious NA power, Gude is the way to go.
WHat who gives head jobs? <pulls down zipper>
oh nevermind, im just a lil delerious right now, been studying way oto much lately!!!!!

I was wondering if a MOD could make this sticky. i think there are a lot people out there who are interested in this (including myself) and would rather not have to keep searching for it. thanx

I believe that Gude can produce that much horsepoer on a 6th gen civic, but I'de like someone to get this work done on a 7th gen civic before I believe the gains they mention. Keep us posted though, I'm always interested in stuff like this.

Well the main problem that I've seen with Gude and 7th gens is that nobody has really heard anything concrete and reputable about them, we just have alot of opinions. The reason I started this is because hopefully, if we get what we claim on this 6th gen, it could show that Gude doesn't really BS much, and hopefully inspire a 7th gen to try it out. Anyways, for an update, the check is in the mail, Gude said the head ships friday, UPS, so should be here mon. or tue. next week.

as soon as my manager gets it done, I'll post the price list for everything he needed, shipping, et al. I'm gonna make this as easy as possible for the first D17 to do it, so that the rest of us can know.
It's all based on sound improvements. Of course each engine is different, but with a little research, I'm sure they can get the max out oif a 7th gen Civic.
It's sure beats hell out of intakes, exhausts and other stuff that mostly just makes noise.
