Rep Power: 0 Hey I been to Den Hague. We were in a little parking lot looking at a touris map, next to a floral clock but no flowers looking for the Hague. The we looked on the big field next to us and there it was, a big brick buillding as I remember.

Rep Power: 0 Cool !!! Flower clock ? That would be near the Peace Palace (the big building you mention). Big tourist attraction. Part of the international court is situated there. It's about 5 minutes from my home. It's a small world.

Yeah. Our plant was bought out by a Dutch company, AKZO. They sent 4 of us over to Arnhem for a week at research. We got to spend two weekends in Amsterdam, and took a side trip to Den Hague.

Rep Power: 0 Netherlands was nice. I was impressed with Arnhem. The guy's office where we had meetings overlooked th famous "Bridge Too Far". I also liked the houses along the canals in Amsterdam. I am used to the Appalachain foothills with small mountains all around, so I noticed how flat the countryside is in Holland. It was interesting to see the planes actually dropping below the sea when coming into the airport. A whole nother perspective. The people were very nice to us and at the small hotel treated us like a family. Overall a very good experience.
The engineer I rode with from Emmen back to Arnhem had a brand new VW. A Golf, I think. He was as proud of that as if it was a Cadillac. I guess with the high gas prices you almost have to have an economy car. I would love to have one of those European versions of the Si though. The Ero version seems much more sporty and faster than the US cars.
On another trip we went acrross France and Germany. Had a company car. An Opel Senator V6. I drove it on the autobahn with the pedal to the floor, wide open for many miles. I kept getting flashed over into the middle lane by big Mercedes and then by these little red sports cars. I thought I was going pretty fast, but those guys were passing like I was sitting stilll. I wish I had a chance to drive there in a faster car.
Anyhow the thing that impresses me most in Europe is the age of the buildings and streets. Like here an old building is from the late 1700's and those places in Europe are maybe 500 years old or older. That's impressive.

Rep Power: 0 Here is why the Weapon R intake is no good. It sits too hight and you cannot close the hood. Following is a link to pic I took before I took off the Weapon R intake and sent it back for refund. This is the way the intake tube sits above the throttle body. You can see that the horizontal part is ABOVE the cowl, so there is no way you can close the hood. It's like a universal piece of crap that probably doesn't fit any car very well.
