How much does it cost to fix a few large dents on a 2002 Civic?
How much does it cost to fix a few large dents on a 2002 Civic?
I recently got into an auto accident. Nothing too bad-- the driver's side mirror is messed up, but I'm planning on replacing it myself. The ordeal did leave maybe a 10 inch dent on the driver's side (the metal panel before the driver's side door), and the front left bumper (no light damage). How much would any given auto shop charge for fixing the dents?
Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks guys!

To fix a small hail size dent in my hood and a larger dent in my front fender which is where yours sounds like it is cost me 600$ From what you are describing I would expect nothing less than 1000$ if not more.

it really depends the best way to find out is to go around local shops and ask for qoutes. Be sure to keep in mind that they will always overcharge on labor fees thats how most body shops make their money

Look for a "Dent" specialist. Sometimes they charge you per dent. (Here in Canada there is a guy who charges 50 dollars per dent). Of course a 10 inch one could be a little bit more. Also, if they can fix it paintlessly they will. Shop around! (If they have to use paint it's more money)-

if these are larger than small door dings from shopping carts, theyre not gonna be able to "fix" it without replacing the whole part and paint matching it. and thats gonna cost lots of $$ unless you try and find oem parts from junkyard or ebay and swap em yourself.

Not too long ago my wife backed into a stone wall (with my recently sold '01) which smashed the left outer lens and badly scratched the bumper below it. I replaced the lens myself but just to have the rear bumper repaired and painted was $250. He told me that if it had been any worse he would've had to replace the bumper. I seem to remember him saying around $500 for a new one but it was over a year ago and my memory ain't what it used to be. It was a lot more in any case.
