I have a 2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe and there is a little piece of plastic behind the interior door handle that the car cleaners lost. Is there any way to find another one? It is just a cosmetic issue. I looked at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com, they have something called Door Panels but its a huge kit of tons of different parts for $380.00. What I am looking for is just a simple piece of plastic.

Any ideas?

"door panels" are the entire interior to the door. Try looking on hondapartsdeals.com ... if you can't find just that one piece online resort to a dealer.

The part you need is called "Cover Inside Handle" The part # should start with 72121.

Call me stupid but from which website would I order "Cover Inside Handle" from. Is this something I can only order at the dealership? I did a quick google search and I couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance.

Also my interior is taupe but the panel is dark brown. Otherwise I think it is the same part. Why do those dumb panels fall out?

I only have the part #s for the sedan handy and no later model coupes. That # is used on the sedans as well. (did not want to post wrong part #)

You should just have your dealer order it and save shipping cost, I show it at $3.70

I cant imagine it coming loose and falling out, I destroyed one of mine doing front speakers and had to replace it.

Look around on the floor it may still be in the car.

If I were you, I'd take a stroll by the dealer versus buying them online because one place wanted to charge me 10$ for shipping where it was only 6.99 at the dealer.

oooohhhh i just reread that. I understand now. I thought it was the plastic sheet between the door panel and the steel door frame that you see when installing speakers.
