I'm just a fan of the Carbon Fiber.... I don't know if I'd call it a fad though. I think it's just more a taste. I've been in this for 10 years and even back then people loved putting on a CF hood. I tend to think of a fad as something that comes in, sweeps across, and disappears. The CF "trend" has been around a long time and it's just personal taste. My front end is CF (for the most part, I can't find a frikkin bumper skin), and when I get my re-enlistment bonus I hope to paint the car a dark grey everywhere that's not CF (in addition to a coil over kit).... Who knows, when it's all said and done I might bolt back on the stock fenders and hood, but for now, I love it (and I catch **** for it constantly).

HAHA, it's my sky rider....

nah, no bumper.... been all over. apparently one was made at one point, but not anymore. Found a place in KY that does some really tight custom work (met them at Hot Import Nights, Charlotte) so I may try to work with them.

As for service, I'm Navy and in GA right now.

junior way to take some charge to close the thread. lol funny but as for the fenders...not my style but its you. i know rsx's had a website back when i wanted one that you can get EVERYTHING in cf including body it was nuts. butt there is this FAD Ive been seeing lately and i don't get it. i get CF but Ive seen allot of new cars that have there trunk and hood PAINTED gloss black.....WWWWWTF i saw a 07 civic Si RED with a PAINTED black hood then i saw a scion Tc with black hood and trunk?? wtf the only way i find that acceptable is Cf and it was black aluminum too i went up close and checked it out in disbelief.

No, I didn't enter. I was there with Team Evolution in the back corner. Our female's scion took 3rd in the female category... The top of my car needs a paint job, so I didn't even bother.

Did you see the really tricked out scion (orange and white) that had a chopped off top and about 5 grand in fiberglass up in the sponsorship booth? Those guys are GB customs... They told me they can do my dark paint job and CF my roof like the M6 in one shot. I'm considering going that route....just not sure yet...

Which car was yours? I'm sure I've got a pic of it somewhere on this computer. Maybe I'll see ya' at NOPI. It's cheaper to register your car and get the two day all pass than to buy tix, so I'll probably be registered there. Maybe I'll see ya'.

Mine was the white 03 civic with the big Team Chozen banner in front of it. I was parked by the back entrance doors. Beside me was a pink civic, she is in our club and she won 2nd or 1st but it was a smaller trophy so it must have been 2nd.

Yeah that TC is AMAZING, Did you see the mini cooper that had a fully built B16 turbo motor under the hood and in the trunk. It had crazy paint and rotating on a platform. He is in our club too, he took home 8 trophies that night and 6 the week befor in FL. His body shop does some crazy work.

Ill be at nopi with my car! just look for me.
