Ion Blue Projectors?

**Did a search already, nothing came up**

Anyways, with that out of the way...

Does anyone have the ion blue projectors? Is the color *very* blue, or similar to the blue that the hyper whites emit?
I don't want to get them and get tickets b/c they are too blue
If that is the case I'll just get the regular ones and replace the bulbs with hyper whites like I have now...

Thanks for the help!

I'm lazy? You're the one who didn't read..
Like I said before I started, I already did a search and nothing came up.. I've also searched outside of this webpage, so now I'm looking for an opinion of other people on this board who might already have the lights themselves.

Mekenna I would not suggest the ion blue. In your search you should have come across a post stating that they used PIAA Super Plasma bulbs in there and they couldent get rid of the yellow tint that it produces. I was told that the Ion Blue produces a yellow tint, I cant explain why, but I wouldent risk it. Get the clears and get HID bulbs or go true HID if you have the money. Im putting mine on today, pics coming soon.....

Peace,
Ozzy

Ion blue emits a plasma yellow type of light no matter what bulb you use

I've heard a lot of good things about Nokya bulbs. My friend's got them on his Accord Coupe and they're very blue. Fairly costly, though. I'm pretty satisfied with my $10 walmart bulbs.

Wonderful, thank you so much for your replies... they're very helpful
I've decided and I think I'm going to go for the clear ones and put different bulbs in them

Thanks again!
