Aftermarket intake Q...

I just bought a 1993 Civic EX 5 speed and it has an aftermarket intake w/ no numbers so I have to replace it for smog. What year intakes will fit my car? I found a guy selling a stock intake 88-91 Civic EX Automatic, and 90-93 accord lx manual.

Thanks......

Re: Aftermarket intake Q...

use the search button, it works wonders. im pretty sure any intake for a 1992-1995 honda civic will fit, thats if its a short ram. what kind of intake did the car come with. does it extend way down behind the bumper towards the floor (usually cold air for civics) or does the filter stop right next to the motor (short ram). if its a short ram, then fitment shouldnt be an issue for any civic 1992-95. but 88-91 civic?? accord?? no man. ur car..it has to fit ur car.

Re: Aftermarket intake Q...

It's the intake that goes up in front of the inner fender well near the front bumper. This aftermarket intake looks just like an AEM, I cant remember the brand, but apparently it has no numbers. I just need something affordable for now, I can always throw this thing back on. California is too strict... I guess its a good thing... to a certain extent.. eh
