Adjustable Springs

Hi,
I am looking to buy lowering springs to my 2001 Coupe Civic. I have went to few sport shops and see what I got offered:

Ractive Adjustable Springs 0-3'' ( for about 350$CDN) and GForce 0-3'' also for 280CDN.
The install is 100$
Well, ive heard that Ractive is cheap stuff and not so good.
I need Adjustable springs because I don't want to pay 200$ each year due to winter.
Also, is it dangerous for my shocks? I don't want to replace them...
Well, tell me about Ractive stuff and If you got any other brands I should look on tell me.

Skunk2 or Ground Control is the only two I would suggest. Depending on how much you lower, the roads you drive on, and how careful you are, you may blow some (or all) of your shocks. Some have lowered 2" and are yet to blow any of them. Just luck, I guess. As far as Ractive, it's a waste of money IMO. Oh, and by the way, coilovers (adjustable springs) aren't meant to lower or higher your ride height whenever you want. They are meant to balanve the weight distribution on your car and if all four corners aren't balanced, you could be in trouble if you take a corner too quick.
