$500!!!!!
Went to this guy who owns a body shop and asked him how much it would cost to paint the stock front and rear bumpers....he told me $500. I told him well, I'll bring them in seperate and just have them painted cuz i wanted to do a DIY grill on the front. He told me $500 still. Please tell me anyone if this is a good price or if I should ask if vasoline is included with this deal!

well thats what i like to call a hook up. ive heard that urethane kits are junk, plus no one around here that i have talked to will paint them and put them on for me. one guy said he would only warranty his paint job on fiberglass.

Paint holds very well on fiberglass.. but hit anything you have a cracked body kit..(even a bumper tap will crack most fiberglass) Eurothane kits are much more durible and flexible..but don't hold paint half as well.. get bumper tapped with a eurathane kit kit survives.. paint cracks and starts flecking away... $400-600 is reasonable for a painting and install.. anything more you better hole vaseline is included in the package lol

WOW! I got my whole truck painted custom color and all for 1700 bucks and that included a rear roll pan and they took everything off no masking parts. Around here you could get the front and rear painted for no more than 200 bucks.

but mohawk, im not wanting them to install it when i can do it myself...****, bad enuff they get $25-50 an hour! I'm thank you mo and the rest of you for all your input..I guess I gotta call every body shop in the tri-state....lol...keep the comments rolling though!
urtathane excepts paint fine and does not chip, as long as you use the right paints and baking proceses, like most HONDA dealers that are good do, thats where my buddy does work on my car, and no probs here....
The best body shop around here said $150 for the front bumper cover prepped and painted.
They did a great job painting my whole Firebird for $1100.
They also used special paint on the urethane parts.

went to the shop today to pick them up...boy did they look good..guy even painted the inside of the lower section on the bumper silver...BADD! Looks great everyone...I get to take them home tomorrow so I will kno if the paint matches the rest of the car I'll know tomorrow but, from lookin at my car day in and day out...I'd say it's as good as it gets. If your in the Cincinnati area, I recommend you go to Bishop Body Shop! I should have pictures up not this weekend but the following weekend! Can't wait to show my baby off!

just got the bumpers but on and I must say...they are as close to satin silver metallic as you can get...not a dead ringer but pretty close! Pics comming...stay tuned!
Listen, don't let yourselves get ripped off. That is far too much money to spend on a paint job. First of all, you can put it on yourself it is not that complicated, jsut takes a bit of time and patience. I paid 450 for my tsunami front, wings west rear and sides to get painted AND put on, so please search far and wide. Don't settle for the first price you come across. People are always trying to make money off of you. Remember that otay?
