engine crain and stand

engine crain

im thinking about pulling the engine out
anyone know how much roughly one of those cranes go for, and where i could get one?
also the engine stand u put it on so u can work on it(i dont know what its called)

rent the cherry picker. You will only need it twice. Once to pull the motor and second to put it back in.

The stand should be around 100 for something sturdy. That you will keep for a while.

There is a franchise shop (pretty sure its pep boys) that rents out tools like spring compressors and engine lifts. Might be the better way to go if your not going to need it alot. its also a good idea to buddy up with a mechanic friend[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]
