TYC Projectors: Manufacturing Defect?

I just wanted to point out that the silver projectors from TYC have a reflective part missing. Maybe they were lazy and didn't cover up the reflective part when painting them? If you're thinking of projectors for your Satin Silver Metallic Civic, then I would buy the black projectors and paint them SSM instead. Check it:

looks like he's talking about the driving light (small one above the blinker)...it doesnt look like it has a reflector in the Brushed Aluminum one.

This doesn't really relate, but i think the black projectors would look nice as hell on SSM. Why paint them?

Maybe, but that's a pretty clear picture.

I bet they got the SAE certification on the black ones and then they could make other colors without affecting the certification. However, in this case they didn't want to cover up the chrome when painting them silver. They fudged it up and if this picture shows what you're going to get then I'm not buying. Well, maybe I'll get the black ones...

maybe the certification doesnt require a reflector for the parking lights...eh? the parking lights arent that important i would think as far as having a reflector on them.

Well, if you buy the clear ones, and it comes with a certification card, then they have been certified
