Ending the Metra question!!!!

Alright there is some confusion of people saying Metra does not make install kits for our cars. WRONG!!!! Here you go I have a copy of the 2001-2002 catalog. The kits are the 99-7897 and the 99-7899. One kit is just a small trim ring which enables you to keep the factory pocket with the flip down cover. The other kit replaces the whole piece, factory pocket and all. I treplaces it with a small pocket opening without a door. So people please quite telling me your uncle is the VP of Metra and they dont make a kit yet. I have one in my car and have install countless others.

the Full metra kit with very little trimming fits an EQ in it quite nicely too [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. I have the smaller kit I like my pocket. (which never had a cover.. yay for DX's lol

i have the small metra kit and my head unit (kenwood kdc-mp919) sits about in inch back in the dash. is that right or did i do something weird?

for one thing i said there where a couple kits that where out for our cars i thought u where talking about the one that you can put a double din HU. sorry that you got confused and couldnt read.
