Yeah..got a red AEM CAI from Stephan while back...been sitting in the garrage for almost a week now...finally had time to install it today. Second time around was so much easier...didn't even need instructions (I installed it on Greenlantern's car...with a bypass..yeah I cut the pipe..its easy). No bypass for me...u really don't need it..or at least here in Houston u dont. I love it, sounds and preforms better than my old Injen SRI....feel free to ask my any questions, I'm bored [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

what is an aem intake and what does it do??
How many hp did you gain??
Does it cause hydro lock?

ahh! scared me there dude...at first I didn't see your name and I just read the questions..lol. Yeah I didnt mean stupid questions like those..like if anybody needs help with the install and what not..but since im bored I shall amuse myself with pimps "questions"
1)AEM (Awsome Exotic Men) Intake...it helps the engine SUCK
2)I gained so much power that I cut myself installing it.
3)Only you can cause hydro-lock....by mistaking you Civic for a Humvee and driving through a river.
4)No, a wild horse will tear you up!

Yup...but I really did cut myself...on the very last screw i was tightining back up...my hand slipped and bam! took out alot of skin off my thumb...it was gross..all the skin was on the metal. Blood was all over my hand...hurt like a bitch. Still hurts...damn sharp metal things...oh well. I guess all the people have lost all intrest in the intakes, lol...can't blame em. Oh..and our intake maifolds are plastic...noticed that durring the install....

Hi

I'm still using my stock air intake at the moment. Seriously thinking of getting the AEM. My question is do you think there will be any noticeable difference in performance if I plan to leave my exhaust system stock?
